‘Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void Collector’s Edition’ details announced

Earlier last week, Battle.net brought news detailing a special collector’s edition for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, which is slated for release Nov. 10, 2015. Sure, we’ve been able to pre-order standard and digital deluxe editions since mid-July, but naturally, the collector’s edition sweetens the deal with even more bonuses.

Blizzard has posted a helpful graphic of the full unboxing and exclusives one gets with the collector’s edition (shown below), but here’s some of the highlights:

  • a physical copy of StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void (DVD-ROM), both for MAC and PC,
  • behind-the-scenes footage containing over an hour of bonus content about the game (DVD and Blu-ray),
  • the official Legacy of the Void soundtrack (CD-ROM),
  • the StarCraft Field Manual, containing 174 pages of original concept art, lore, and interesting facts and stratagems about each faction,
  • various exclusive digital content for other Blizzard titles like Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Diablo III, from new skins, portraits, mounts, and pets, among others.

For $79.99 USD, all of this (and more!) can be yours and in your hands on Nov. 10, 2015. So go on and get out there, grab your copy, and don’t be left out in the dust when the Protoss come a knockin’.
