Andy Schuette has been gaming ever since he could hold a SNES controller in his hands and has been loving every minute of it. He's the funniest guy he knows, and the least funny guy everyone else knows.
Sony had a lot of content to show at Paris Games Week this year, what with all their crazy trailers detailing exclusives for PlayStation 4 gamers and their titles, but two of those presentations were especially interesting: I’m talking about Street Fighter V, as well as the revival of the classic fighting series Tekken.
Katsuhiro Harada, the executive producer of the Tekken games, came out to talk about the upcoming seventh installment of the series. Tekken has been around for 20 years, the same age as the original PlayStation console. To celebrate 20 years of Tekken, Bandai Namco Entertainment will be bringing Tekken 7 to the PlayStation 4. And let me tell you, as a fan of the, series I found the trailer to look amazing!
Also discussed was the upcoming game in the Street Fighter lineage, Street Fighter V. Executive producer of this game, Yoshinori Ono, also come to the stage to present the news on his upcoming game. This news includes the re-addition of master yogi, Dahlsim. He was seen in Street Fighter II and IV as well as some of the crossover games that Namco was a part of.
Additionally there will be six unannounced, unlockable characters available after launch on February 16 for both Europe and the Americas.
You can find the trailers for both games along with all of the trailers shown at Paris Games Week here.
This just leaves us with a battle: two classic fighting games will duke it out for supremacy on the PS4 battleground. The only question is, who will win?
